1. Our Role as Your Agent

Nothing Ventured Travel is an appointed travel agent of Independent Travel Experts Ltd (ITE). When you book a holiday through us, we act as an agent for the Principal Supplier (e.g., a hotel, an airline, or a tour operator). Your contract for the travel arrangements is with that Principal Supplier, and their specific Terms & Conditions will apply to your booking.

2. Financial Protection & The TTA

We are members of the Travel Trust Association (TTA), member number U9197. This means every penny you pay to us is 100% financially protected.

The Trust Account: Your money is held in a specially designated Trust Account, overseen by an independent trustee. It is only released to suppliers to pay for your holiday or returned to you if the trip cannot go ahead.
ATOL Protection: All flight-inclusive packages we sell are protected by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number T7400. You will receive an ATOL Certificate with 48 hours of booking.

3. The Design Brief & Booking Process

The "Design Brief" is a consultation phase where we curate your itinerary.

Accuracy: We rely on the information you provide. Please ensure all names match your passports exactly.
Confirmations: A booking is only "confirmed" once we have issued a formal Confirmation Invoice on behalf of ITE.
Pricing: Prices are subject to change by suppliers until your deposit is paid and the booking is confirmed.

4. Payments & Balance Due Dates

Deposits: Required at the time of booking and are generally non-refundable.
Final Balances: Must be paid at least 12 weeks (84 days) before departure unless stated otherwise. Failure to pay on time may result in your holiday being cancelled by the supplier, with cancellation charges applying.
Protection Charge: A non-refundable £15.00 per person Financial Protection Charge is included in your booking to secure your TTA/ATOL coverage.

5. Changes & Cancellations

Any request to change or cancel your trip must be sent in writing to NothingVentured@ite.travel.

Admin Fees: As per our ITE agreement, name changes (70+ days out) incur a £35 fee, and date/tour changes incur a £100 fee per person, plus any supplier costs.
Cancellations: Please refer to our [Refund Policy] for the sliding scale of charges.

6. Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking that you have adequate travel insurance. Your insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation. We cannot be held liable for any losses incurred due to a lack of appropriate cover.
