At Nothing Ventured Travel, we take the security of your journey seriously. As an Accredited Member of Independent Travel Experts (ITE) and The Travel Network Group, your booking is backed by the industry's most robust financial protection models.

Every penny you pay for a package holiday is held in a secure Travel Trust Association (TTA) Trust Account and is 100% guaranteed. Furthermore, all flight-inclusive packages are protected under the ATOL scheme (T7400).

1. If You Need to Cancel

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, the lead passenger must notify us in writing via email at NothingVentured@ite.travel.

Cancellations are subject to charges to cover the costs incurred by our suppliers. Based on our standard ITE terms, the following sliding scale applies (calculated from the date we receive your written notice):

Days Before Departure = Cancellation Charge (per person)

70 days or more = Loss of Deposit only

69 – 43 days = 30% of total holiday cost

42 – 29 days = 60% of total holiday cost

28 – 15 days = 75% of total holiday cost

14 – 8 days = 90% of total holiday cost

7 days or less =100% of total holiday cost

Note: Some specific adventures, cruises, or certain airfares may be 100% non-refundable from the moment of booking. We will always notify you of these specific terms before you confirm your Design Brief.

2. If You Wish to Amend Your Booking

Should you wish to change a name, a date, or a destination after your confirmation invoice has been issued, we will do our best to assist. As per ITE regulations, the following administration fees apply:

Name Changes (70+ days out): £35 per person
Date/Tour Changes (70+ days out): £100 per person
Changes made within 70 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking and will incur the charges listed in the table above.

3. If We Cancel Your Holiday

In the rare event that we or our principal suppliers must cancel your holiday (due to "Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances"), you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid within 14 days of the cancellation.

4. Processing Your Refund

All refunds are processed through the Independent Travel Experts central system to ensure the TTA Trust protections are correctly applied.

Trust Account Refunds: Because your money is held in a Trust Account, it is protected even in the unlikely event of supplier insolvency.
Insolvency Protection: Please note that the £15.00 per person Financial Protection Charge paid at the time of booking is non-refundable as it provides the insurance and trust-account security for your trip.

5. Travel Insurance

To protect yourself against the cancellation charges listed above, we strongly recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance in place from the moment you pay your deposit.
